Larry Charles Wells, 80, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away on October 11, 2026. Born on February 21, 1946, Larry leaves behind cherished memories with his family and friends.
Larry attended the University of Oklahoma. He enjoyed attending church and sharing coffee and conversation with his friends. These moments of fellowship and companionship were a meaningful part of his life.
Larry’s family includes his son, Ellory Wells and wife Ashley; his daughter, Kellsye McMurtrey and husband Stephen; his grandchildren, Oliver and Archer McMurtrey; and his siblings, Jerry Wells and Terry Wells.
His family will honor his memory with a celebration of life.
Larry will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by those who knew him.

Larry was a wonderful friend to us in Bob's university days at the University of Oklahoma and after. He & Bob shared housing and enjoyed many hours of conversation and coffee. We know Larry is with Christ. We pray for peace and comfort for all family and friends.

Vicki and I are very sad to hear of Larry's passing, we counted him among our dearest friends. We had visited him regularly in recent years, a time that we know was difficult for him. We're comforted to know he is with the Christ he desired to serve.
