Janet Lynn Sorell, 69, of Weatherford, Texas, passed away on October 12, 2026, in Weatherford following a lengthy illness.
Janet was born on January 28, 1957, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Henry and Mary Sorell. She graduated from Breckenridge High School and continued her education at Bauder Fashion College.
Janet cherished her friends and loved her dog, whose companionship held a special place in her life. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Sorell, who loved her dearly. She is survived by her brother, Richard Sorell, and Mary Kay; her sister-in-law, Lisa Sorell; her nieces, Rachel and Lindsey Sorell; and her treasured friends.
The family will hold a private celebration of Janet’s life for family and friends. The date and time will be shared once arrangements are finalized.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beyond Faith Hospice in Weatherford, Texas.
