Rick Soliz Gonzalez

Rick Soliz Gonzalez, 67, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on September 15, 2026.

Rick was born on December 25, 1958, in Ballinger, Texas, to Enrique Salinas Villareal and Micauela Gonzales Nombrana. He later attended school in Fort Worth, Texas, where he graduated from high school.

Throughout his working years, Rick worked as a security guard. He was a friendly and outgoing man who never seemed to meet a stranger. To Rick, everyone could be a friend, and his warm and welcoming personality left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Rick enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness. He was an enthusiastic fan of WWE wrestling and Westerns and enjoyed listening to Christian rap music. He also loved visiting flea markets, where he could spend time browsing, discovering interesting finds, and visiting with people along the way.

More than anything, Rick will be remembered for his friendly spirit and his ability to connect with others. His kindness and willingness to make a friend wherever he went will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Salinas Villareal and Micauela Gonzales Nombrana.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Rick’s honor at 2620 W. Pioneer Parkway, Suite 102, Arlington, Texas 76013. The date and time will be announced following the completion of cremation arrangements.

Rick’s memory will live on through the family, friends, and countless people who had the pleasure of knowing him. May those who loved him find comfort in their memories and in knowing that his friendly spirit will not be forgotten.
