Elizabeth Jan King, 67, of Poolville, Texas, passed away at her home on October 17, 2026. She was born on November 18, 1958, in Kimball, Nebraska, to Cleatus and Lily Wright.
Elizabeth was a thoughtful, selfless woman with a generous heart and a fiercely protective love for her family. Strong-willed and determined, she faced life with a spirit that those closest to her knew and loved. Her caring nature and steadfast presence will be deeply missed.
Elizabeth enjoyed gardening and was an avid movie enthusiast. Whether tending to her garden or settling in for a favorite film, she found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Above all, her family held a special place in her heart.
She is lovingly remembered by her partner, Vincent P. Bennici; her daughters, Maigan Anderson and her partner, Keilon Lathan, and Madison King Shipley; her stepdaughters, Erin Bennici and Megan Bennici; her brother, Gregory Wright, and his wife, Patti; and her three grandchildren, Nick Anderson, Avery Anderson, and Kyler King.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Cleatus and Lily Wright.
The family will announce memorial arrangements at a later date.
Elizabeth’s big heart, strength, and enduring love will remain in the memories of those who knew and loved her.
