Chad Edward Fikes, 54, of Graford, Texas, passed away on October 11, 2026.
Chad was born on March 21, 1972, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Dan Edward Fikes and Regina Lyn Surginer. He attended Tarleton State University and Weatherford College and served in the United States Army.
Chad leaves behind his daughter, Alexandria Lynn Fikes Payne; his son, Brandon Edward Fikes Monroe, and wife, Nicole; and his three grandchildren, Dahlia Payne, August Monroe, and Elizabeth Monroe. He is also survived by his mother, Regina Lyn Surginer; and his siblings, Robin (Rob Fikes), Jennifer Sarver, Mary Fikes, and Andrea Miles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Edward Fikes, and his sister, Lola Fikes.
Chad’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Condolences & Memories
Chad was a very close friend when we were teenagers growing up in Burkburnett. We lived three doors down from each other. Chad, Robin and I went to church together and were almost inseparable. His big smile and happy personality will no doubtedly be missed by all who new him. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.
