Nancy Riza Robertson, affectionately known as “Robbie,” passed away at her home in Weatherford, Texas, on October 17, 2026, at the age of 83 following a battle with cancer.
Nancy was born on September 24, 1943, in Hermosa Beach, California, to Henry and Maxine Riza. She pursued a career in nursing, dedicating her professional life to caring for others.
Nancy shared 61 years of marriage with her husband, Lamar Robertson. Together, they built a life that grew to include children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Lamar; her children, Rob, Steve, and Howdy; her grandchildren, Steven, Colin, Kara, Tyler, and Amber; and her great-grandchildren, Bennet, Thea, and Lilith.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Maxine Riza, and her brother, JC Riza.
Her memory will live on through the generations of her family and those whose lives she touched.

Condolences & Memories
I have never forgotten Robbie’s kindness and how she made me feel seen and understood when I was young. I still wear the butterfly pins she gave me all these years later. I will always cherish our walks, the memories of Rome, watching movies on her big bed while eating junk and laughing together. My heart goes out to all her family and loved ones.
