Denise Allene Rogers
June 29, 1962 – September 23, 2026 Aged 64 years
Denise Allene Rogers, 64, of Granbury, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2026, at Harbor Lakes Rehabilitation following complications of multiple sclerosis.
Denise was born on June 29, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Marjorie Louise Kor and Richard Kor. She grew up in the Fort Worth area and graduated from Everman High School with the Class of 1981.
Throughout her working years, Denise held several positions that reflected her strong work ethic and determination. She worked for General Dynamics and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and later served as a Booking Officer with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department.
Outside of work, Denise found happiness in the simple things that made life special. She loved drawing and coloring, spending time with her children, being around animals, watching her favorite television shows, and, of course, enjoying a good cup of coffee.
Those who knew Denise knew that she could be wonderfully stubborn, but they also knew that beneath that determination was a woman who loved deeply and was always there for the people she cared about. “She was well known for her sense of humor” and “her smile could light up every room she entered” She had a personality all her own, and those closest to her will surely smile when remembering one of her favorite sayings: “I need a cigarette.”
Above all, Denise treasured her family. She shared 16 years with Michael ray Rogers and was a loving mother to Daniel Ray Rogers and Lena Marie Huggins and Her husband Brandon Dale Huggins. She is also survived by her mother, Marjorie Louise Kor; her sisters, Jennifer Corby and Diana Kor; and other family members and friends whose lives were touched by her love, humor, strength, and unforgettable personality.
Denise was preceded in death by her father, Richard Kor.
Denise lived with multiple sclerosis, but her illness was only one part of her story. She will be remembered for her strength, her stubborn determination, her love for her children and animals, her sense of humor, and the countless everyday moments that made her uniquely Denise. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Condolences & Memories
I am deeply saddened to hear of Denise's passing. She was a wonderful lady, who's personality was louder than life itself. She loved her kids unconditionally and always made sure her kids' friends knew they were always welcome in her home and she loved them just as much as one of her own. Denise was one of the strongest and most determined woman that I knew growing up, and never let her illnesses define her life. I will be forever grateful for the time I got to spend with her and I will always cherish our memories. My condolences to her family and those she loved. May they have the strength to find peace in this difficult time of mourning.

My deepest condolences to your family. Denise graduated a yr before my. I remember her being a feisty young girl that was full of life. I visited her and brought some things she was needing in Granbury several years ago before her kiddos were driving. We had a great visit. I was heartbroken of all the health issues and trauma she had gone through. I’m so sad to hear of her passing. May the Lord bring all of you peace
